Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
What an eventful competition! Tightly contested, shaky start but a strong finish - went to the last game & ended with goal difference & goals scored being considered to separate 2nd/3rd. We finished 3rd in our league (needing only 1 more goal to finish 2nd). Well done team! ⚽️
Hockey team won their league with wins of 5-1, 4-0, 7-0, 9-1 and a close 1-1 draw. During the break in play, our team we’re keeping sharp with some passing drills too. Tough match in the semi-final with decisions unfortunately not going our way and a tightly contested 3rd/4th play-off. Claypole finished 4th overall out of 18 teams. Well done team for putting in so much practise before (& during) the tournament; they played well throughout 🏑
We are seeking an efficient, reliable, friendly and trustworthy individual to join our existing team of Midday Supervisors with responsibility for securing the safety and welfare of our pupils during the midday break.

Please can we remind all parents/carers that products containing nuts (e.g. peanut butter and nutella or nuts themselves), are not to be brought into school as part of your child's packed lunch. We have several children with severe nut allergies in school for whom coming into contact with nuts can be potentially life threatening. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Our Year 4 PGL residential is fast approaching and kit lists have been sent home. Can we also add a few reminders:
Please do not take:
Mobile phones – there is no need, children will be busy, they will get damaged; teachers will contact you if necessary.
Electronic games/MP3/iPods etc – there will be no time to use them – they could be lost or damaged too.
Best clothes – they will be ruined.
Medication
Please let us have any medication that your child uses in a labelled envelope, with full instructions about does and timings, handed to one of us on the morning. Children who use inhalers and/or epi-pens must have them with them in their bags too.
If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask.
