  • Poppy Appeal

    Wed 31 Oct 2018
100 years ago the guns fell silent on the world's first truly global war; it is a time to think about all of those who lived through this tragic and remarkable time - and who put Britain on the path to becoming what it is today. Our Year 6 children have organised to bring the Poppy Appeal produce around school; it will continue to come round classes in the afternoon next week. The suggested prices range from 50p to £1. Money raised through the Poppy Appeal goes directly to The Royal British Legion’s welfare work, providing through-life care to anyone who currently serves in the British Armed Forces, who has previously served, and their families.
  • Christmas Shoebox Appeal

    Wed 31 Oct 2018

Filled & wrapped shoeboxes are to be returned into school for collection on Friday 2nd November. Thank you in advance for your kindness & generosity. #ShoeBoxAppeal @BlythswoodCare #KindnessMatters

  • Dogs by the school gate

    Tue 30 Oct 2018
Please can we ask that if you are walking your dog to school, please could you stand away from the school gates when dropping your child/ren off; although many of us like dogs, some children are scared of them and are nervous about approaching the school gates in the morning. Thank you.
  • Individual Photographs

    Mon 08 Oct 2018

Put on your smartest uniform, comb your hair, straighten that collar, brush those teeth & smile: it’s individual photographs on Thursday 11th October. Families with younger siblings not at school, feel free to pop in after school for a photo

  • Harvest Festival

    Mon 08 Oct 2018
We will be having our Harvest Festival with the children in St Peter’s Church on Friday 12th October (9:30 am start). It would be lovely if the children could bring in a donation for our Harvest on that day – this can be in the form of non-perishable produce such as tins, packets and boxes of food which we will donate to the Emmaus Trust (a representative is attending our service too) for distribution to young homeless people in our local area; we know that, as always, you will give generously to this worthy causes. We look forward to seeing you in Church on the 12th October
  • Cross Country

    Wed 03 Oct 2018

As a team, our Cross Country runners improved their collective finishes from their last race a couple of weeks ago with places: 11th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 40th, 48th... out of 101 runners. Good effort Claypole! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

  • No football club: Tuesday 2nd Oct... but back on again on the 9th October.
