  • Midday Supervisor Vacancy

    We are seeking an efficient, reliable, friendly and trustworthy individual to join our existing team of Midday Supervisors with responsibility for securing the safety and welfare of our pupils during the midday break.

    You will be working as part of a team of supervisors, and experience of working with children would be an advantage. This post is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check.

    Hours of work: 5 hours a week 12.00 – 13.00 Monday to Friday, term-time only.

    Closing date (and time): Monday 9th October midday... Interview date: Thursday 12th October... Commencement date: As soon as possible

  • Grantham Journal: New Starter article

    Grantham Journal have been in contact with us; they are running a supplement on children starting school in reception and would like to take a photo of our class to include in their article (it will be a class photograph without children’s names attached). They are coming into school on the morning of Monday 9th October.   If you have any concerns or wish your child not to take part in the photograph, please let us know.

  • Lunch reminder

    Our lunch menu’s are available on our website. Can we also remind parents/carers that lunch money is also due and children new to Key Stage 2 (Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) need to pay for the school lunches (£2.30 per meal). Thank you.

     

    For children who choose to have a packed lunch, please ensure it contains a healthy balance, with no fizzy drinks. To safeguard those children who have food allergies, please do not send your child with peanut-related foods. If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies please let the school know (and the extent), and we will endeavour to cater for your child’s needs. Thank you.

  • Staffing update

    Unfortunately, Mrs Lile has been taken ill and is awaiting an operation to remove her gall bladder (she is expecting it will be Monday); we wish Mrs Lile a speedy recovery and send her our best wishes. She is eager to get back to school and is missing being with her class! In the meantime, Mrs Emily Cox will be teaching our Year 2 children. Mrs Cox previous taught Key Stage 1 children at Mount Street Academy in Lincoln for the last 6 years. We will welcome her to our school on Monday.

  • PTA Cheese & Wine Quiz

    The next main event is our Cheese and Wine Quiz on Friday 22nd September at 7:30 pm in the School Hall.

     

    Tickets are £7.50 per person and teams can be made up of 6 people.  Tickets include half a bottle of wine, cheese, biscuits, French bread, olives and grapes.  Team sheets are available from the School Office – completed entry forms/payment to be returned by Monday 18th September please. We look forward to seeing you there.
