Where the Delta variant differs to classic coronavirus symptoms is that they are more similar to cold and flu-like symptoms, with many finding themselves testing positive as a result saying they felt slightly off or unwell rather than experiencing a sudden onset of symptoms such as a loss or change in taste or smell. The most common symptoms for coronavirus on the whole, according to the NHS, are a new, continuous cough, high temperature and a loss or change in taste or smell. However, symptoms for the delta variant also include headaches, runny noses, sore throats and fever. The advice remains very much the same – with those feeling unwell advised to order a PCR test if they are experiencing any of the signs of coronavirus and its latest variant.
Lincolnshire FA is currently taking part in a research project, commissioned by the FA that we hope will ultimately improve transition rates of girls playing football into the community. Visit our newsletter page for a copy of the recruitment letter for participants aged 7-14 who have taken part in football within school, within the community or both.
Each participant will get £60 for taking part.
For further details please read the attached letter. Contact Emily, from Sherbert Research at emily@sherbertresearch.com for more information or to sign up. We hope that you are as keen to improve the landscape of female football in Lincolnshire, and Nationwide as we are and this is just the start.
