  • Snapchat

    Mon 13 Nov 2017

'Snapchat' has introduced a ‘tracker’ in the latest update of the app where you can view the EXACT location of your friends if you pinch the screen inwards while in selfie mode. It shows the area, town, street and if you zoom in enough, it shows the house on the street layout.  Although legally the minimum age is 13, we are aware that there are a number of children who use 'Snapchat'. If your child uses the app, please check that their location is set to 'ghost mode', that way no-one can see where they are.   Snapchat is one the most popular messaging apps that children use but new apps are popping up all the time – it’s important for children to develop critical thinking skills to help them stay safe in media and all aspects of their lives.

  • Girls Football

    Fri 10 Nov 2017

Our Girls Football Team took part in the annual Girls Football Tournament with 15 other school teams. The girls won 2, drew 1 and lost 1 and narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals by 1 goal difference! Great team performance; we hope the girls continue to play and enjoy their football.

  • Children in Need

    Thu 09 Nov 2017

Children in Need (‘Pudsey Day’) is Friday 17th November. To help raise money, we are asking children to come to school dressed in non-uniform – alternatively, the children could come to school dressed in ‘something beginning with the letter P.’ We would recommend £1 for charity or any loose change you feel you could donate for Children in Need.
