This term we will be learning about many aspects of what life was like in Ancient Greece, including;

Who were the Ancient Greeks?

Where is Greece?

What are some of the geographical features?

Who was Alexander The Great? What did he accomplish?

What was daily life like?

Who were the Spartans?

Comparing the ancient and modern Olympic Games.

Who were the Gods & Goddesses?

What was the Trojan War?

Key Information:

Our PE sessions this half term are Tennis & Basketball. These will be on Tuesday and Thursday, please make sure children have suitable kit in school for both indoor and outdoor sessions.

Homework will be set on Fridays using the Atom Learning platform, please see me if your child needs a reminder of their login. This is to be completed before the following Friday please. Spellings will also be sent home on Fridays, in preparation for our work on those words in the week ahead.

Please remind children to continue to read regularly at home as well use the Times Tables Rockstars app at least 3 times per week. Read Theory (see website list below) is also available to aid with comprehension activities at home.
