  • Christmas Fayre

    Sat 28 Nov 2015

    A huge

thank you to all our wonderful parents/carers, grandparents, staff and friends of the school who put in so much time, thought and energy into Saturday’s Christmas Fayre and the run-up to it– it was absolutely amazing.  Thank you for giving up so much of your time.  Thank you to everyone who came on Saturday and supported the school.  School had such a lovely spirit about it.  I was bowled-over by the number of people that came and all the donation towards the stalls & raffles.  It was a massive success because of everyone involved.  Well done and thank you!

    Best Christmas Fayre Ever.

Keep your eyes peeled in the Newark Advertiser for an article/photo of our Fayre.

  • Sickness Bug

    Thu 26 Nov 2015

We have quite a nasty sickness bug sweeping through our Reception class at the moment and have had to send a few children home poorly today.

If your child is poorly with either sickness or diarrhea, please note they need to be off school for 48 hours after the last episode. This way we can ensure that it is not spread amongst others.

    Thank you.

  • Thank you for your support

Wed 25 Nov 2015 Mr Wells

A huge thank you to everyone who attended this week’s ‘Whole School Vision’ meeting (parents/carers, teachers, teaching assistants, our senior administrator, our governors, my mentor and education advisors…).  Thank you, too, to Diane for providing all the refreshments.  It was wonderful to see familiar faces and to meet parents that I haven’t met before.  Thank you for coming out on a cold, dark evening and listening to my aspirations for our school; and thank you for your support, your feedback and welcoming me into the community.

  • Whole School Vision

Tue 24 Nov 2015 Mr Wells & Our Governing Body

‘Whole School Vision’ meeting with the Head teacher and Governing Body

    Tuesday 24th November 2015.

We are delighted to invite you to a ‘Whole School Vision’ meeting on Tuesday 24th November 2015 with the Head teacher and the governing body, to share with you the plans and aspirations for our school.

The meeting will begin with a presentation and move onto an informal questions/answers session with refreshments and the opportunity to talk to the Head teacher and the governors.

For reasons of space, we will be hosting two sessions in the school hall:

    6:30 – 7:30 for parents in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2;

    7:30 – 8:30 for parents in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.

If you have children in both key stages, you are free to attend either session as the content will be the same.

It would greatly assist us in the planning and preparation of the evening if you could let us know which session you will attend.

If you are unable to join us for this meeting, there will be another event arranged for the New Year with the opportunity to meet new and existing staff.
