Creativity is a great source of mindfulness... and fun too!
Mr Wells has created a padlet space for positivity, creativity and collaboration that can be started and enjoyed over the Easter holiday. It has lots of prompts to ideas for drawing, photography, writing, reading and, most importantly, paying attention to the world around you! You can access the prompts and share your creativity openly here:

The NHS across Lincolnshire has introduced a smartphone app, which is designed to help
people choose the least pressured urgent and emergency care services and to understand
waiting times better.
The WaitLess app combines current waiting time, queue numbers and travel time at urgent
care facilities in the county. This displayed information helps people make an informed
decision about where to seek the fastest treatment for minor illness and injuries. Along with
this, the app displays all available pharmacies in the area as an alternative treatment option.
Please find within our newsletter page a poster explaining the service.
We are hosting a dyslexia awareness workshop for parents/carers on Thursday 23rd March (2pm – 3:15pm) from our school hall.
This will be led by Helen Lane, an Educational Psychologist with Lincolnshire Education Authority.
There will be time to hear information about dyslexia, have discussions with the Educational Psychologist and an opportunity to ask questions and gain advise.
Refreshments will be available too!
Peterborough United FC are running a Football Day on Tuesday 4thApril at YMCA Newark and Sherwood - a fantastic planned day and a great opportunity for children in the Easter Holidays.
The children have been learning about the art movement ‘Expressionism,’ thinking back to their prior learning/knowledge about Kandinsky and recently looking at the artwork of current Expressionist artist Reggie Laurent. Having been inspired by Laurent’s artwork, the children created their own… worthwhile to be displayed in the Tate Modern gallery we think!
