The Grantham Journal are creating a news article spread about the new Reception intake in primary schools in and around the Grantham area. They are visiting our school on Wednesday 1st February at 11:30 to take a class photograph. Children in photographs will not be identifiable by name, i.e. there will not be any captions containing the children’s names alongside photographs other than the name of the school.
If you do not wish your child to appear in the picture, please let us know.
We are waiting for our performance to begin at Sheffield Arena - our Young Voice Choir will be performing with 6000 other children tonight from 7pm until 9:15pm.
STARTING SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER 2017
If parents/carers want their child to start reception in September 2017 (and their date of birth is between 01/09/2012 and 31/08/2013), they will need to apply now.
Parents/carers can apply online at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions, or ask for a paper application form or make a phone application by contacting the Education Team on 01522 782030. Parents can only apply by using one of these three methods.
If applicants live outside of Lincolnshire then they need to apply to their home Local Authority even if they want a school in Lincolnshire.
The main closing date is 15 January 2017, although the online and telephone application facility should still be available to use until 20 January 2017.
