  • Red Nose Day

    Fri 08 Mar 2019
On Friday 15th March (Red Nose Day), Pupil Parliament have invited everyone to come to school wearing something red. It will be normal school uniforms but with something red added/altered (socks, t-shirt, hairband, red-nose, trainers...) in exchange for £1 or any small change you are able to donate to charity. Please can we ask for the children not to have dye added to their hair; we have had some instances where children have been unable to wash it out afterwards.
  • Book Jars

    Thu 07 Mar 2019

Well done to all those who have created a ‘Book in a Jar’ for World Book Day – it was wonderful to see such a variety of creations. It is obvious that a lot of care, thought and creativity has gone into the jars. We look forward to sharing pictures and a review of World Book Day in our next newsletter. Photos of the jars are also be on our website (menu… children… gallery….) and photographs of the children will be on their class pages.

  • Pancake Race

    Wed 06 Mar 2019

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the annual Pancake Race this morning. The children entered into the intended spirit, showed great resilience, had fun and smiled through a little healthy competition. Well done to Lewis in our Wagtails class for winning overall too.

  • Eco greenhouse

    Wed 06 Mar 2019

Our eco greenhouse build began today with Rotary Club & Rototek... unbelievably we ran out of bottles! We need another 130 2-litre bottles for it to be completed. The quicker we collect them, the quicker it can be completed so that we can start growing plants inside it.

  • Intra-House Competition

    Mon 04 Mar 2019

Our Sports Ambassadors & House Captains have organised an intra-house penalty shootout for this week. Mr Wells, who has been the neutral goalkeeper for key stage 2, has gone home filthy having been put through his paces against some stellar shots from our children!
