Year 6 Leavers Service
Friday 19th July (9:30am start)
St. Peter’s Church, Claypole
We are also welcoming Mrs Johnson, a trainee teacher, who will be working with Miss Bowles and her class next year too. Mrs Johnson will be following a SCITT course (School Centered Teacher Training). She will be school-based for 4 days and attend university for 1 day. As well as being able to help train a teacher, they will also be a really useful extra pair of hands in the classroom!
NED’s Mindset Mission is a positive behaviour assembly visiting our school! This morning, we were joined by a performer who took our children on a 45-minute journey filled with storytelling, illusions, yo-yo tricks and humour.
NED’s message and memorable friends is intended to inspire children, promote academic achievement, and support our school vision. NED will become a positive role model at both school and at home.
Our school received this assembly at no-cost because another school community has paid-it-forward to us. Now it’s our turn — you can help by purchasing a NED-messaged yo-yo and accessories. A yo-yo is both a mindset tool and tangible reminder of NED’s message. While learning to ‘yo’, children will make mistakes, try again, and improve. You can read more at www.MindsetMission.com/yoyos.
Yo-yo's are on sale in the school office (before & after school) from Friday 5th July from £5.
