It is with great sadness that I announce that Mrs Lock has decided to take a break from teaching and will be leaving her position at the end of the summer term. Mrs Lock has worked incredibly hard for the last 15 years at our school where she has worked as a teaching assistant for 10 years before qualifying to be a teacher. She will be a huge loss to teaching and to our school; everyone at school wishes Mrs Lock the greatest of luck in her future endeavors. A teaching post advert will be published shortly.
Also, Mr Heathcote has suffered a broken metatarsal and Mrs Hudson is also poorly. Mr Heathcote will hopefully return soon to be with his class; in the meantime, Mr Wells will be teaching the Year 6’s in the run-up towards their SAT tests. The Office will be covered by various people this week – please bear with us if you ring or arrive at the hatch and it isn’t answered as quickly as normal. Thank you.
