Join us this term as we explore our topic:

The Ancient Egyptians

and try to answer the question -

How powerful were the Ancient Egyptians?

 

This term we will be learning about many aspects of what life was like in Ancient Egypt, including;

Who were the Ancient Egyptians?

Where is Egypt?

What are some of the geographical features?

How important was the River Nile?

How and why did they make mummies?

How to write like an Egyptian.

Who were the Egyptian Gods?

Key Information:

Our PE sessions this half term are Netball & Tag Rugby. These will be on Tuesday and Thursday, please make sure children have suitable kit in school for outdoor sessions. (They made need a spare pair of socks, as the field can be quite wet when we are playing rugby!)

 

Homework will be set on Fridays using Atom Learning platform, please see me if your child needs a reminder of their login. This is to be completed before the following Friday please. Spellings will also be sent home on Fridays, in preparation for our work on those words in the week ahead.

 

Please remind children to continue to read regularly at home as well use the Times Tables Rockstars app at least 3 times per week. Read Theory (see website list below) is also available to aid with comprehension activities at home.
