Moving schools? Midyear admissions

If you are looking to move schools, we recommend arranging to visit school beforehand; all schools have a unique feel!

The midyear admission link is:

Free Transport from Fenton & Stubton

The law requires that all schools must have admission arrangements that clearly set out how children will be admitted, including the criteria that will be applied if there are more applications than places at the school. Admission arrangements are determined by admission authorities. We have adopted the Lincoln County Council admission arrangements and processes to ensure continuity across the county.

The staff, governing body and pupils of Claypole Church of England Primary School would welcome you applying for a place at our school.  To do this you must follow the correct process for your child’s age as detailed above. All applications for this school must be made through County Council Admissions Arrangements, not this school.

Over-subscription criteria

After the admission of pupils with statements of Special Educational Needs or Education Health and Care Plans where the school is named on the statement or plan, the following criteria will be applied in the order set out below, to decide which children to admit:

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children
  2. Children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission
  3. Children who live closest to the school
