Admission Process

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below. 

 

Starting School: Reception places for September 2020

Children who are born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 are due to start Reception in September 2020.

Lincolnshire parents can apply for a place from 14 November 2019 for the 2020 Reception intake.

You can also apply by telephoning Customer Service Centre on 01522 782030.  Alternatively you can request a paper application using the same number.

 

You can apply for up to three state schools, in or out of county on your application. We strongly advise you to name three schools on your application as we cannot guarantee a place at your most preferred school.

 

If you do not live in Lincolnshire you must apply through your home local authority.  You can name Lincolnshire schools on this application.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon, 15 January 2020.

Even if the closing date has passed you can still apply for a school place.  If the apply online facility is no longer available you can still apply on a paper application, you can request one by telephoning our Customer Service Centre on 01522 782030.  Late applications and changes received after 12 noon on 17 February 2020 will not be dealt with in time for offer day on 18 April 2020 and will be processed at a later date.

Over-subscription criteria

After the admission of pupils with statements of Special Educational Needs or Education Health and Care Plans where the school is named on the statement or plan, the following criteria will be applied in the order set out below, to decide which children to admit:

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children
  2. Children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission
  3. Children who live closest to the school
