Welcome to our PTA!

Our wonderful PTA (Parents/Teachers Association) is an organised & purposeful way for our school to fundraise through creative efforts & activities and to build & strengthen links with the wider community as a whole. The PTA work tirelessly to support our school.

All parents/carers with children at Claypole Church of England Primary School qualify to become a member of our PTA (congratulations) and we are always looking for those who can spare whatever time, initiatives or resources they have to get involved.

There are a number of ways to help.....

Our PTA is made up of committee members, who provide support and assistance on a regular basis, those who have fantastic contacts, those who have amazing ideas and those who can provide support for individual initiatives or events.

We meet regularly and plan a wide range of fundraising events. Together we then work closely with the staff to spend funds raised on a variety of different projects including playtime equipment, school visits, new reading books, programmable Lego kits, additional IT equipment (iPads for example)… the list is endless!

The events themselves are also great fun for the children and add an element of enterprise to the children's learning too. The school discos are very popular, as are the quiz nights... and the Christmas and Spring Fayres are becoming grander each year!

Our aims...

The aim of the PTA is to come up with exciting and new ways to support our school community and manage events as well as working with teachers and governor representatives to ensure all activities fall in line with our school's overall development plan.

If you're interested in getting more involved with our PTA or just want to come along to find out what it's all about then please do - we look forward to seeing you! The team welcomes new members with open arms as the list of jobs grows longer.

‘easyfundraising’ helps thousands of good causes and charities raise money for free. With easy ways for you to raise donations, it doesn't cost you a penny extra to shop online via easyfundraising! It would be great if you could take advantage of this fantastic fundraising method and raise money easily and quickly by joining easyfundraising.org.uk.

Fundraising for your school whilst shopping

If you already shop online with retailers such as Amazon, M&S, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, Vodafone, netflix, Boden and Play.com, then we need you to sign up for free to raise money while you shop!

So how does it work?
You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/ for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to us at no extra cost to yourself.

How much can you raise?
Spend £100 with M&S online or Amazon and you raise £2.50 for us. £100 with WH Smith puts £2.00 in our pocket and so on. There's over 2,000 retailers on their site, and some of the donations can be as much as 15% of your purchase.
