Well done to all the children who prepared a speech and stood up in front of everyone yesterday in the hope of being voted to become a member of the school's Pupil Parliament. We were really impressed with the number of children wishing to be involved (just under 50 children in KS2) and the quality of some of the children's speeches certainly made voting a difficult decision!
We have counted the votes (and counted them again) and we are pleased to announce the names of the children who received the most votes for their year group. The voting was so close in some year groups that we have ended up electing 1 more/1 less than anticipated in some year groups... ultimately giving us 12 representatives.
Our Pupil Parliament for 2018 is:
YEAR 6 representatives: Emmie Blatherwick; Elliot Gamble; Abbi-Lou Hill; Emily Francis.
YEAR 5 representatives: Theo Thompson; Denisa Pethoova; Henry Hodkinson.
YEAR 4 representatives: Dougie Blatherwick; Charlie Cooper.
YEAR 3 representatives: Bobby Osbourne; Sophie Mayfield; Minnie Marlow.
Well done children: I look forward to working with you closely in the new year.
