Welcome to Claypole school and to the Bluebirds class!

Autumn Term - Only one You

This term our Theme is 'Only one You.’
We will celebrate the uniqueness of ourselves and each other. We will look at our features, create images of faces using a range of materials. We will reflect upon the people in our lives that are special to us.
Who is in our family? What do I like to do with my family? Understand that families come in all shapes and sizes! We will learn more about what our bodies need to keep happy and healthy. Why do we exercise? What changes
happen when we exercise? What is a balanced diet? We will also r
eflect upon our feelings.

Please take a look at the Curriculum Letter and Termly Overview to see the other learning opportunities the children will experience throughout this half term.

Homework will be sent home with the children which will consist of leaning the new sounds taught and practising letter formation these sheets do not need to be returned to school.  However, it would be useful if you could send the plastic wallet each day.

We are really excited about meeting you all and looking forward to all the fun we will have together during your year in reception.

Miss Kurvink and Mrs Milner
